Notion is an AI-powered tool that goes beyond simple note-taking and project management. It’s a powerful platform handling your personal and professional tasks, helping you, your team and your family stay organised and productive. Here’s some examples of how Caroline uses it:

Family Admin

2. ChatGPT: An AI ally that writes, refines, and solves your tech problems

You’re probably already using ChatGPT, but are you getting the most out of it? ChatGPT can help you in all kinds of tasks from writing to problem-solving, as well as drastically reducing the time you spend on admin tasks.

Turn Notes into Emails

One of Caroline’s favourite uses for ChatGPT is for turning notes into a set email template. Rather than drafting emails from scratch, give ChatGPT the bullet points, it will turn them  into polished, professional messages.

Refining Ideas for Recruitment

AI can be a huge help during the hiring process. Caroline used ChatGPT to write and refine trial tasks for virtual assistant recruitment. It’s great for quickly generating variations on a theme to help optimise the selection process. You can also use it to search CVs and applications for the key words, skills and experience you’re hiring for.

3. Superhuman: Speed Up Your Email Game

Superhuman is an email management tool that uses AI to help you handle your inbox faster and more effectively. Here’s how it can boost your email productivity:

Write Emails Faster

Superhuman uses AI to suggest text based on your previous conversations, organise your inbox, and help you quickly compose responses. You’ll write and send emails faster, so you can spend more time on more important things. 

A word of warning
AI has a lot to offer and is already creating a huge amount of positive change, but as with all new tech developments, there is a down side. If sustainability is important to you, you should be aware of the environmental costs of AI. 

Creating one AI generated image can use as much energy as charging a mobile phone to 50%. Google is reporting a 13% year on year rise in carbon emissions, mainly due to the increased demand on its AI servers. 3-5% of the world’s electricity is being used by data centres at the moment. ChatGPT uses the same amount of power as 180,000 USA households *per day*

Of course, there are different metrics, but it looks like Big Tech are underreporting their emissions. So yes, use AI, but as with all energy, use it intentionally and responsibly.
