Based in the vibrant city of Johannesburg, South Africa, Lu-ise brings a unique mix of film and hospitality experience to the VA world, making her quick on her feet and an expert multitasker. She’s navigated roles from videographer to project manager, sharpening her knack for problem-solving and efficiency. With a keen interest in AI and a mini MBA to back it up, she’s all about streamlining tools to make operations sing. Outside work, you might find her cycling, diving, hiking, or even attempting to ski—passionately, if not perfectly!  

What does Upsourcing mean to you?
Upsourcing, to me, is about lifting the weight of routine tasks so that founders/owners and CEOs can focus on what they truly excel at. It’s more than just delegating—it’s about empowering people by freeing up their time and mental energy, allowing them to channel their skills into impactful, creative work. It means trusting in a network of skilled VAs who can step in and handle the operational load, helping businesses work smarter and not just harder.

What would you Upsource from your life or business?
In my own life, I’d upsource the little tasks that eat away at my time, like scheduling, administrative work, and even some aspects of research. In business, I’d focus on upscaling processes through effective automation, using tools like AI to upsource repetitive tasks. This way, I could channel my energy into more strategic, high-level planning and creative problem-solving, which is where I find the most value.
