Why we love Vimcal, the SuperHuman of calendars

What is Vimcal?

Vimcal brands itself as ‘the world’s fastest calendar, for people with too many meetings’. As you can imagine, we were intrigued. Vimcal integrates with systems like Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook to make scheduling easier, more efficient and more intuitive, without losing the human touch. The team at Upsource has found it to be incredibly user-friendly; we think of it as ‘The SuperHuman for calendars’ except we think VimCal is better than SuperHuman. And the best part? Your OG calendar goes nowhere. You’ll still be using Google or Outlook on your phone and it will be updated by Vimcal, no action required on your part.

Why Vimcal?

Slots
It’s easy to share your calendar’s available time slots without the impersonal experience of other scheduling tools like Calendly

Avoid the back-and-forth of email tennis by allowing your contacts to choose times that work for both of you

Slots can be protected if they are marked as non-negotiables, or if an engagement is more flexible, your contact can override it

Customisable templates

You can create templates for recurring meeting types, like sales calls, team check ins or podcast recordings

Vimcal is extremely customisable with colour coding and tagging to suit your needs

You can highlight the event categories that are most important to you, like sales calls or strategy time

Flexible Scheduling

You can share meeting slots in a number of formats, including plain text or URLs, to accommodate your and your contacts preferences

There is an ‘ignore internal conflicts’ feature so you can avoid overlapping bookings while booking in multiple different people and meetings

They have a ‘group voting’ feature (similar to Doodle polls)
